Crate conveyor with glass ejector and automated crate feed system

A soft drink manufacturer needed a transport system on which crates filled with glass bottles could be ejected, manually inspected and then automatically returned to the main stream. In order to realize this, we have made a mat-top conveyor on which the ejections could take place. This reject conveyor was inserted into the existing roller conveyor with connection to a reused return route in the form of a slat chain conveyor with enough length to serve as a buffer. On this conveyor, side stoppers were placed which hold the crates for manual inspection. After this inspection, the crates can be transmitted at the touch of a button to a roller conveyor with right-angled transducers that eventually transports the crates back into the main stream.
