An infeed table has been developed for a manufacturer of liquid laundry products, from which plastic bottles have to be removed row by row on an outfeed conveyor. The instability and the orientation of the bottles had to be carefully taken into account. The infeed table consists of a mat-top conveyor in two parts so that the infeed can take place batchwise; a detection bridge with photocells checks whether the bottles have been properly set up. A pneumatic installation then ensures that the bottles are neatly transported single-file on a slat chain conveyor tot he filler.
